An Overdue Farewell

Tue Feb 20, 2007, 11:25 PM
Dear deviants,

I realized today that it has been over a year since I've posted any stock. Considering that, at best, I check this page about once a month or two is proof to me that I no longer have the time or motivation to put the effort into keeping up this account.

So as of today, Elf-Stock is not longer. I am truly sorry to all my watchers who consistently have used my stock.

Any stock of mine that you may have saved to your computers is fair game for any type of use, and I would still appreciate a credit and link to your deviation through note/comment if possible. I will still check this account about as often as I have been.

Please do not note me concerning stock at my main account.

Again, sorry if this action has disappointed you. And thank you for all the beautiful art you've given me over the past few years.

I am now a Thompson instead of a Hescock. Newly married, working, going to school - no wonder it's been 8 weeks since I last checked this thing. I want send out my sincere appologies to you all. I do not mean to neglect you.

Unfortunately, this does not mean I'll be updating anytime soon, possibly not even at all. Actually, I'm contemplating shutting down this account due to how much neglect it has had from me. I'm not sure I'll ever get back into seriously creating stock again.

For now, I will leave Elf-Stock running. I'll turn over the shutting down idea in my head for a little while longer before I settle on a decision.

As a reminder: PLEASE DON'T leave links to deviations on my main page. They generally disappear before I can get to them, and then I never see the deviation. Leave links in the actual deviation used or note me.

Thanks everyone. Keep up the brilliant work.

Hello Friends

Tue Jul 25, 2006, 4:29 PM
My subscription ended and I accidentally messed up my previous journal entry, which means I lost my signature that had links to other great stock places and such in it. Oh well! I'm not on here enough to cough up the renewal fees.

To find other great stock artists, check out my old entries.

Still camera-less. So don't expect any grand updates any time soon. Sorry.

As a reminder: PLEASE DON'T leave links to deviations on my main page. They generally disappear before I can get to them, and then I never see the deviation. Leave links in the actual deviation used or note me.

Thanks everyone. Keep up the brilliant work.

Elf-Stock Updated Policies!

Wed Apr 19, 2006, 10:43 AM
<div align="center">Hello fellow Deviants,

I know, it's been awhile. But I have some good news for all you manipulators out there.

As of today, Elf-Stock now grants all DeviantArtists permission to use my stock in any and all Deviant Prints without restriction.

From now on, you don't need me to e-mail prints-permissions any longer. Please continue to note me about non-DeviantART related prints.

And if you tell me you're using me in a deviation print, I'll prob'ly, most likely, almost without a doubt wishlist your piece.

My "Stock Rules" have been updated and can be found at the end of this entry, right after my name. Sorry for my lengthy absences. Chances are, they will continue. I still don't own a camera since mine broke. Sad.

Oh, and...

PLEASE DON'T leave links to deviations on my main page. They disappear before I can get to them, and then I never see the deviation. Leave links in the actual deviation used or note me.

Thanks everyone. Keep up the brilliant work.</div>

DETAILED STOCK RULES: [link]

Hey everyone!

Thanks so much for your continued love here on my stock account despite how long it's been since I've updated. There's some new stuff, thanks to having borrowed a friend's camera for a few hours. Hopefully I'll get a new camera within the next month, and I can try and update more often. I'll be open to requests again once that happens. :-þ

College and work have been keeping me busy, busy, busy! I can't promise to be around much, and I wish I could thank every new DevWatch personally, but I lack the time. I do promise to respond to all your comments and notes, even if it takes me awhile. Have patience with me!

Keep the lovely artwork coming, I do enjoy it!

Merry Christmas everyone - I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season.
